These four designs, two Austin local and two universal, are tried & true best-sellers. Now available for licensing.

Here’s how it works:
• Choose one of the designs from this page to be printed on the products of your choice, like t-shirts, wall art, metal and enamel pins, planners, phone cases, mugs, etc. See samples below.
• You pay printing and distribution costs, and pay me a percentage (TBD) of the of the sales price per item times the total number of items printed.
• Let me know the dimensions of your project and I will send your printer high resolution, print-quality artwork, formatted and sized specifically for your project.
• I specialize in graphic design for print reproduction, so I will be happy to work directly with your printer, making sure my artwork meets the printer’s requirements and checking proofs, to ensure that you get the best print job possible.

Or, if you would like me to create a custom design for you, just let me know.

Love > Hate — Original
My most popular, best selling design to date! Inspired by the MLK quote “Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that.” Originally created as a 4 foot square banner on the sign of a local retailer, people (and their dogs!) posed in front of it for pics to post online, then went inside and bought the T-shirt. The positive response to this design has been overwhelming and yes, heart-warming!

Love > Hate — Rainbow
One of my retailers requested a version of my Love > Hate design for Pride Month. I used the colors of the original Pride Flag created by Gilbert Baker in 1978. I colored the fist (a symbol of the power of love) a light lavender color, a combination of blue and pink. Stickers and framed prints have been selling well. I have not yet printed a t-shirt with this design as it would require too many colors for a small silkscreen run, but I would love to see it printed and distributed at a larger scale.

Austin Grackle Woodstock
“THOSE BASTARDS paid no homage to my dad, monetarily or otherwise!!” said the son and business manager of the original Woodstock poster designer Arnold Skolnick, about the agency who created the Woodstock Two poster by adding a second dove on the original guitar neck. I’m not the first designer to create a takeoff on this classic design, but I did not want to rip him off, so I contacted him, asked his permission to base my design on his — and he gave it to me! To give credit where credit is due, the T-shirt includes the line “©2023 Carol Gunn, Gunn Graphics. Based on an original design ©1969 by Arnold Skolnick and used with permission.“ If you would like to include all or part of this line in your project, just let me know.

Why We Love Austin
Everything we love about Austin (that isn’t trademarked or copyrighted — sorry, UT Tower!) When I was creating this design, I asked my “focus group” (a.k.a. my Instagram followers) to let me know what were their favorite things about this weird city of ours. Live music of course, but also, thanks to some actor and writer friends, I added “CRAZY CREATIVITY: Film/TV, Visual Arts, Writers, Live Theatre”. Because, why should the live music get all the glory? If there are any favorites of yours that you would like to add, just let me know. This design features a rough texture, giving the t-shirt a vintage, degraded look. It also looks great in a rustic frame or printed on uncoated paper.
